What is Uniforst?

Uniforst is the forestry students cooperative. Through us you as a student can find interesting jobs and get valuable training. To companies Uniforst will provide forestry specialists without heavy recruitment process and fulfilling the requirements of the customer.

How to join?
You can join here.

The Uniforst board will process and accept your application in the next board meeting after you have paid the membership fee. All applicants must have the right to study at the Department of Forest Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Helsinki.

How much Uniforst costs
Joining is 50 euros but it will be retrieved when resigning.

How can I find open job applications?
Vacancies will be posted at Uniforst’s facebook site and at email list.

Will my Uniforst membership be automatically discharged when I graduate?
No. When graduate you must make a resignation announcement.

When does the resignation come into effect?
If you graduate for example in 2017, your membership will end until the end of 2018, when the cooperative capital is returned.

What services can I use without membership?
You can take part in a job search, even if you do not belong to Uniforst. However, members are priority in the choices made. In addition, Uniforst’s training is generally open and billing service is available to everyone.

Can I handle billing through the Uniforst billing service even though I have already begun work?
You can not. If you plan to use Uniforst’s billing service, you must agree the labor with Uniforst beforehand.
